Ivaylo Balkanski has been a Partner in Law Firm Kolcheva, Koev and Partners (formerly known as Novel Consult in the period 1994 – 2007). He specializes in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, enforcement of civil claims and creditors’ rights, project funding, foreign investments, power. Substantial experience in international relations. He has advised many foreign investors how best to realize their projects in Bulgaria and this assistance has often turned into ongoing legal advice about the day-to-day operation of the companies they manage and own.

Ivaylo is actively involved in representation for different financial institutions, drafting of legal due diligence reports, agreements for funding and security, perfection of securities, evaluation of the project funding risk, negotiations with natural persons or public authorities, enforcement of securities, pledges of going concern, bank accounts, dividends and etc. Graduate of the Faculty of Law at Sofia University St. Kiment Ohridski. Member of Gabrovo Bar since 2007. Fluent in English and Russian.
