Gergana Ilieva has been a Partner in Law Firm Kolcheva, Koev and Partners (formerly known as Novel Consult in the period 1994 – 2007)since 2006. She is actively working in the field of labor law, project funding and currently advising several large Bulgarian companies. Unrivaled experience in power from renewable sources gained while advising the banks funding the first wind farm on the Black Sea coast and numerous other investors on different large-scale real estate projects.

Gergana was legal adviser to several power producers and financial institutions on projects such as the construction and putting into operation of wind farms, solar parks and biomass plants, and the rehabilitation and downsizing of the personnel of Maritsa Iztok 3 Power Plant. She has also advised a big chain of hypermarkets on their entire operation and development, and various other clients such an advertising agency, shoe manufacturer, medical representative office and producer/supplier of technical and medical gases. Along with labor law, Gergana also has rich experience with migration and tax issues for foreigners, environmental law and public procurement.

Graduate of Ruse Faculty of Law and member of Sofia Bar since 2002. Fluent in German, English and Russian. World Justice Project collaborator and sponsor of ERA (Academy of European Law) Jubilee Fund.
